The Death Show
A fellow blogger, Rodrigo Pradel, at Estudio Luna is doing a Death Themed Art Show and I sent along my collage and acrylic reverse painting titled "ecstasy". I built the frame myself and then sanded the frame and a little of the surface of the Lucite.

Meanwhile the Southsea Free Art Exhibition that My Dog Sighs arranged looked like a fabulous day with a lot of happy finders.

A special lady at Chronicles of Trisna gave this award and I want to send a BIG thank you from ME :)

Years ago I curated a show called "The Death Show", and it was a hoot. For many years my favorite image and symbol was a skeleton and also skull and crossbones. In fact I had bank checks made with the latter.
I have been amused by this imagery for many years. Day of the Dead is one of my favorite holidays. It is no wonder I have been drawn to your work for quite some time now. It looks to me like it amuses you as well!
Day of the Dead has always fascinated me and yes the imagery does amuse and inspire me. It is odd what we are drawn to :) Glad you visited :)
I'm a multiple offender. In fact, I had just grabbed Meow Tse-Tung to use as a picture link to send people your way when I read that caveat at the end of this post.
If you're serious, I'll stop using your images, but I've only used them to send traffic to you. I appreciate that stolen digital art is a problem, having had clueless bloggers "steal" images off my blog that I was hosting, and doing so in a way that let me pay for their bandwidth (and yes, I'm directing evil thoughts towards a young librarian in NYC right now).
I'll check back to see if you reply, but I'm hoping I have your permission to use your images if I restrict their use to promoting your blog.
Maybe I should reword it since it gave you concern and frankly I have always appreciated your support and link backs.
I can't figure out where the money is in splogging, but that's why they do it.
Great skull work though as usual!
Cool that you don't have to wait until October for skeleton art. The Death Show sounds like a fun time!
