10,000 feet and we came around the bend of the road and was greeted with this golden vista that took our breath away. We just stood and stared at the sun kissed aspens for 30 minutes in absolute silence.Santa Fe - Home
Not a sound except the rustle of leaves.
IN THE STUDIO
I am guessing the colours of New Mexico are influencing my art for it seems I'm attracted to yellow, orange and blue felt.

This is one way
in a Horno
I was going to write about my trip to New Mexico and baking bread at the Pueblo but this website really did a grand job so I hope you enjoy visiting and exploring their site.
Pueblo Oven Bread Recipe
Looking at how a horno is built I think we will be sticking to an indoor oven. Luckily, or not so luckily if one is on a diet, my husband has taken up bread making as a hobby. One bread on his baking agenda was a fave of his as a child, simit. If anyone wants to try just so you know grape molasses is available
at many import stores or on amazon.
