Free Art Fridays
These two little portraits are just a couple of the ones I will be leaving around town for July. I am thinking I will need to put them higher and make it more difficult for the kids to reach. It seems our free art fridays has become a scavenger hunt for kids, but our work is meant for adults to enjoy taking too.
For June I left these in various spots around town.

I love your cow! I think it's amazing how you can turn any old piece of junk into a piece of art. I'm having a go at that myself - we had an old PC that I have taken apart. It was like a treasure chest inside! I just don't know what to do with all the pieces yet though!
What a fabulous find for somebody.
You are awesome.

Peace & Love.
Is this publicized for the tourists?
How do people know it's free art or something that shouldn't be messed with? Do you sign the pieces?
Grate Cow!

Thanks Michael, Bill we have been having fun with it, but I do feel it is becoming a wee bit predictable. THe charm of found art is that it is the unexpected. So we may change our strategy a wee bit.
thanks for dropping by connie and leaving a comment :)
Marcia, yes it is a collaboration with the chamber of commerce efforts to draw tourists to the town and advertized. We put little tags on each piece that states it is free art.
ah, but Linda you can do quickie things with watercolour that I couldn't do in a lifetime. So we are even, so there lol! Thanks for dropping by.
all the best everyone :)
