Cheddar Cottage Diaries: Moving Boxes and new creative adventures.

Cheddar Cottage is getting ready for the big move . All are very excited but mixed with sadness. They will miss their little human friends (our darling grandchildren).  Each week the grandchildren would look in the cottage and see what was going on, add things or rearrange. Always there were little stories with the characters and some were autobiographical, some mimicked what was going on in their life or ours.  

Back in 2018 when we had moved to Ahwatukee, a suburb outside of Phoenix, I wrote a post about facing creative isolation. It was a little scary but I decided if I worth anything as an artist I could lean into it. Here we are 7 years later and  I had no idea it would lead to creating such whimsical work centered around wee mice.  Once I’m back in the village in Ohio , around my art tribe and all the creativity around me who knows where it will lead. It’s nice to be 70 and still feel the magic of art.
