Mouse Tales at Cheddar Cottage: Christmas Decorating
Maude dragged the box of ornaments out to decorate the tree. It was thirsty work once done and time for a glass of orange ice tea. I don’t ever remember iced tea back in the uk growing up. Took me 15 years in the usa to even try a glass and didn’t like the taste or how sweet it was. Keep in mind this was back in the early 80’s and it was Lipton tea. I started making sun teas when living in Texas, usually herbal and I liked those. I still don’t drink iced tea but it’s popular in Cheddar Cottage.
The mini paper chains I made with origami paper, the candles are painted toothpick ends on a sequin made by my jafapal, Nancy Mellon.
I had some spare air dry clay and thought I’d make some christmas ornaments with paint, drip paint and paint pen. My art supplies are limited as my studio is packed away. We are moving and selling the house and apparently a very messy studio wasn’t approved by the real estate design consultant LOL!
