Cheddar Cottage Diaries: Aging and Art

 I forget my age until I realize that I can no longer do something without consequences and then it's like DRAT!

In this case sitting bent over a table creating a tiny mini diarama kit for 4 hours and the next day more hours.

 Well it did my back in and I don't mean just a sore back. I mean crippling pain and a need for a rollator. After an mri and a month of therapy I have to respect that I can't do that anymore. I have spinal arthritis and degenerative disc disease and it isn't going to go away. I have to just do my exercises daily and not bend over a table fiddling about with tiny things for hours on end. The kit looks fun when finished but in all honesty I didn't enjoy the process at all. With my own miniature work the fun part is figuring out how to make clay look like a hoover, or a telephone, or how to make a in the little house glow without resorting to kits.
