Whisker Worthy: Drawing a World of Whimsy
Hurry, Hurry little mice
Through the winters forest’s snow and ice
Scampering, scurrying, with tiny paws
To reach their cozy homes with no pause
Through the frozen trees they swiftly dart
Their fur ruffled, their breaths a puff
Finally they see their home and their little hearts beat with glee
As they scurry towards it, wild and free
Soon they’re gathered by the fire
Their little bodies warm and inspired
The flames crackle and dance
They snuggle in, in a trance
As the world becomes increasingly hostile online and off retreating into a quiet space in our minds or home seems an ever more important comforting safe refuge to recharge.
May you find that quiet safe space too.
