Each day is an adventure as we learn to live in a new place and a new lifestyle. I have a new motto when it comes to plants in the southwest, "look but don't touch". They can be ever so pretty but the thorns are lethal and sometimes they are hidden within the leaves, on the trunk or tiny slivers sneak into your flesh and irritate.
