Camera-less Photography of Feathers
At first when I saw these feather pics in the article I thought they'd been scanned but they are done by a method called Cliche-Verre.
Scanning is sort of a version of Cliche-Verre. I love playing with the scanner now and again and did these last year.
My earliest scan back in 2010 was peacock feathers. There is something very appealing about scanned images, particularly feathers. I have a lovely collection of them (thanks to friends-you know who you are ♥)
Scanning however doesn't get the same magnificent depth like the cliche-Verre images by Taylor Curry.
And for your viewing pleasure from BuzzFeed, photographs by Robert Clark.
