Copyright Infringement: One of my most RIPPED off images

My Dotty Spin Art Painting
A week doesn't go by that I don't find my painting somewhere, either on a blog entry with no link back or credit, a facebook page icon or banner heading, the inescapable spam sites, youtube videos, record labels, professional website/fb pages, or used to promote an event. The irony is that many of the people who have used this image have a copyright notice on their site/s.
Hello, I have a copyright too ;)
I am pretty sure if I used the same excuses for freeloading their work/music etc I would hear quite a few rather nasty expletives and get a notice from their lawyers.

Here are just a "few" examples

Nobody ever asks, or credits me or offers to pay me a licence fee. Not difficult, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
Email me if you want to use it at jafagirlart(at)yahoo(dot)com.
or
leave a message here with a link and I will get back to you.

And if you do an image search, just read the notice "this image may be subject to copyright" and do a reverse image search to find out the source of the image if you need to contact the creator.

History of the painting
It was part of a series of spin art paintings I did on a homemade machine in 2010

and posted on flickr, arts & crafts blog and here in 2010.

It just never ends, does it?

no. The most ironic part of this is that record companies are brutal about protecting their licence and copyright, but hey there seems to be no such reciprocal respect for an artists copyright.grrrrrrr

I can see why you would be very upset about this. I can only imagine how much time and effort it would take for you to go after all the people who have stolen your work.
