In the Mint Garden with Mr. Twombly

My painting experiment of Cy Twombly's abstract Lepanto ended up in the mint garden (yes, I know there are some that think that's where his work belongs), but only ended up there because one patch of resin wasn't mixed properly and remained sticky. A lesson in not rushing when measuring and mixing epoxy resin. Sun shadows and glitter sparkles were GLORIOUS this morning as I picked mint for Cacik (a Turkish version of tzatziki or raita).

Here is my recipe.
2 cups of thick plain yogurt (greek is good)
2 large garlic cloves
 salt to taste
1/2 tsp grated lemon
1 tbsp fresh mint
dried dill
paprika
sumac(can be purchased here)
olive oil
  1. Put yogurt in bowl and mix in garlic, salt, finely chopped mint, grated lemon.
  2. drizzle a little olive oil on top, sprinkle on a little dill, paprika and sumac and SERVE chilled.
