The use of the Barbie Doll in a satirical work qualified for Fair Use in a court case. However Nadia is facing legal harrassment for using an image in the same way, although it isn't an exact copy of their product, rather it has a similarity. Nadia did have her day in court. As Nadio states: "when the judge asked LV's attorney why Darfurnica was mentioned in the lawsuit - and forbidden by the court order - if they didn't have a problem with it? To which their attorney responded "You shouldn't read it like that." Then the judge asked how else he could read it, since the painting is the first thing mentioned in the list of works they want to forbid."
Ruling should be within a few days.

Still plodding along with the embroidery version of the street art sticker I put up in Graffiti Alley (also known as Trippers Alley)a few years ago. I finally figured how I want to incorporate it into a larger piece.
Still busy planning two local art installations and two more textile graffiti pieces.
