It is said that in order to break the rules one must know them but sometimes I think it better NOT to know all the patterns/rules when it comes to art. Part of the journey in creativity is not so much the end product but struggling how to get there, and in the process coming up with your unique way of presenting an idea.
I've never embroidered a bird before, so the challenge was figuring out how to do it. Ah, BUT the eye? No, not a real birds eye. I wanted to use a human eye because
this bird represents a human carrion and will be part of an assemblage. Well I'm hoping it will work as planned :)
