Love the bit where the grandson complains gran used to be quite happy until she took up crochet.

We just came back from visiting my 90 year old gtrandmother. It was a Sunday and the very flash, hotel like retirement village was deathly quiet (excuse the pun). Andy my husband said to me: "The X generationers won't put up with this when we retire...we will be the senile deliquents". Nice bit of synchronicity here, Jafa girl. See you in retirement, crochet hook and all.
