Aprons: A whole new Meaning
When I was growing up the pinny,or apron, was a symbol of domesticity and drudgery. It took a new generation of women for me to slowly change that view. It's so intriguing to see how they have become so popular and a fashion statement of sorts.

I just read this on the "who does she think she is" facebook page
"I would like to take the lowly apron, worn by common housewives and redefine it as the battle gear needed for the 21st century. Instead of the meek, demure, frilly half skirt speaking of scrubbed sinks and clean dishes, the apron should speak to world peace and sanity. Like chamber maid furies, we need to recycle, clean up, and restore. Strap on your aprons girls."
If you make aprons/pinnies please share your link and I will post here.

Cheers.
my mum used to carry my pet guinea pigs around in her apron!
When I was travelling last year I bought a gorgeous apron in Santa Fe - it was a wonderful home touch while we didn't have a home!
Personally, can't stand the shape of them - they make me look pregnant all over again because of the size of my boobs. lol.
