Hurt Box Bitch
Sketchbook Project Page
I used a photo of my found art piece titled "hurt box"
because this woman was like a walking hurt box.
She just couldn't be friends with other women even though she craved it.
Before long the jealously would set it, the attempts to manipulate, the spite.
Inevitably she would lose her friend
and
the wooing of new one's would set in
WOO HOO!!!!!!!!

I am not one of those people that win's much, so to win this beautiful Ceramic Bowl from Painter Girl from her blog giveaway was a wonderful surprise. Actually seeing it and touching it I was even more delighted (check out the bottom of the bowl). If you haven't seen her work already, please check it out, it is original and beautifully done.
Thank You

Love the bowl! Lucky you!
That page is awesome! Are you painting right on the sketchbook page or making separate pages, then gluing them in?
The text with that page reminds me of my "Lost Souls" stories. Very cool. You are doing such a great job on these pages. Love em!
Cool bowl too!! :-)
Plus- Corrine, your work in this post is incredible too---I believe I hear it screaming touch me just as well!!
Peace & Love.
You are so sweet to put me on your blog. And I am so glad that you like the bowl! It has a good home with you and your wonderful work.....and speaking of that, I LOVE THIS PAGE!
Love it!
Your book is going to be fabulous. You rock on Girl!
Jafabrit, I love how you can translate an emotion or experience into art. You're amazing!
this is honestly the first blog I've ever commented on but maybe you could change that to *leave a comment* so bone heads like me will easily see it.
because I would have just not left a comment if I didn't want to take the time to find the button...
anyway this piece of art is interesting.. I actually dont think I've really ever seen anything like it.. and I'm pretty sure it scares me :)
ah yes the wc - I seem to be good at creating hard feelings on that board.. oh yes. but look for my posts on the structured critique forum.

As for the comment buttons, I have no control over their placement and each blog platform has a different place for them. I am forever trying to find it on wordpress. Either way they can be annoying to find and sometimes to post (spam filters etc). So thanks for taking the time.
