It carried the howl of unleashed rage, roaring through the trees, and across the fields, bringing its woes, screeching and ripping off limbs, tossing aside all that was in its way. As I snuggled under the covers slipping into my dreams it slipped in there too and I tossed and turned at the nightmare of a house with yellowish green shag carpets and peeling rotting walls.
So I woke up in a rather glum mood today and can't seem to snap out of it.
:( Cheer up, my friend! The end of January kind of does these things to us, sometimes, though. We are all depending on you to pop around and cheer us all up with your lively comments and takes on what we are doing, too!
You know what? I sure wish I had your talent to paint with words. Reading here is always an adventure and feast for the eyes and ears!
I don't know what is worse, bitter cold or howling wind...Oh I know bitter cold with a howling wind.
That wind does discombobulate a person for sure. If I was near I would come by with my bottle of sambucca and then we could put some in the cafe mocha and eat our scones and have a laugh or two.
omg, it frightened the life out of me LOL. Here in UK, we are having horrendous winds, and for a moment, i thought it'd blown one of my windows in. ROFLOL. took a moment to realise it was your sound effects. ROFLOL
GREAT concept my friend, the wind howling with the beautiful poetry. love it. x
Thanks one and all, I appreciate the words and wouldn't it be fun to all meet for a coffee, a mocha, a scone, a bloody mary, beer and pizza, a laugh! wow, that would do me diet in lol! Gone with the wind San, GOOD ONE!
I remember those gales ripping roofs off in the northeast margaret. I do like my sounds effects on the blog now and again :")
