Do you even get chip shops (or chips, come to that) over there?

no benjymous :( There are sometimes versions (English style pubs, etc) but they don't compare.

I liked the post today. The sound of the sea is great to hear again. It is quite different from the rustling leaves of corn in the fields.

Because I have never lived in a landlocked place before (I am a coastal girl, born and raised on the FL coast then 20 years at the OR coast, now living in KY) I miss the ocean like crazy. Thanks for this today, I needed it.
Love!

Chips with gravy for me...had some fabulous fish 'n' chips on my holiday travels, in Cheddar of all places (the best Chippy's are usually up North).

Liking the new look BTW.

This is so peaceful! Thank you for sharing it with us! I can't say that I often get the chance to go to the beach. This post is wonderful. I can just close my eyes and I'm there! THANKS!
*HUGS*
Ah, yes, the beach...
I'm a beach babe from way back..
Always one of my favourite places to visit on the weekend...
Ooh, chips in paper. Yum.

Oh to find a proper chip in America! I loved them in England.

And the Sea...the sound is fantastically relaxing. Love the feel of sand between my toes.

No ocean surf here...just the rustle of leaves and the drying corn stalks in the fields. Not the worst sound though! Tonight the crickets are having a party and the breeze is so cool. But no chips in sight...

Hugs,
Sue
