Worry Dolls and Rocks
I am making a few worry dolls for the art ball machine using left over fabric from the pillow I made for the guest room. I can't make a lot as they take a wee bit time, but I do like to put a few special things in the art balls to keep up the element of surprise.
My son took a pic of this "zipper stone" at the JUMING Museum located about an hour from Taipei city. Sort of reminds me of one of my fave artists, Claes Oldenburg. I would LOVE to have this in my garden, that would ROCK! go on groan!

Sorry I've not been visiting much recently.
And, that worry doll is cute.. His eyes remind me of the beaded devil doll that I made...
I hadn't thought of him that way ed, but maybe all the soft giant lollipops has something to do with it :)
Take Care

Rock on girl!
*HUGS*
I like your worry doll - my doll is out of the kiln - i just need to make a proper body for him...
Queen always reminds me of when I was 13 or so and we'd be riding in the car to go to church and my dad would parody the song because it would drive him crazy. "What, you call this music??" Yet, he never switched the station either...

The doll is so neat, great object for your ball machine. Not sure I'd have the patience to sew more than one though.
I have an idea. YOu can put the artwork you were concerned about in the guestroom and just make some worry dolls for your guests. :-)
I want the zipper stone!!
Yeah - it rocks!
I groaned too xx
HA! HA! JAN, that is fun.
Minx, Glad you like the perturbed doll and zipper rock! zipper rock! zipper rock!
I wouldn’t mind being the recipient of one of your art ball thinggies. Great idea.
I can’t stand waste of any sort and hoard scraps of everything, Fong vows that if we ever decide to move it will be a case of ‘the place comes with EVERYTHING’, and we leave in the clothes we’re wearing. I sometimes ponder on how much fun our boys are going to have sorting this steptoe and son lifestyle of ours.
