My husband bought me this teapot 11 years ago in honor of my new found passion, art. I have about 35 teapots in my collection, and I use them all at some time or another. You see I LOVE tea, a strong cup of tea with milk and sugar.When I first came to America there were two things I remember specifically rejecting, paper napkins, and iced tea. Paper napkins I thought a waste of money, and iced tea because I thought it an absolute aberration. It took me 15 years to get used to the idea lol! WEll it wasn't that I was totally stubborn, the quality of the tea used back in the late 70's=80's was 'orrible. Nowadays there are so many choices and really good too, just don't serve me Earl Grey (YAK, can't stand the bergamot). Oh and tea made with microwaved water, double YAK!!!!!!!!! And what is my favourite tea? Ceylon. And for iced tea with lemon and mint I like Turkish black tea called Rize. How about you?
I never could just sit and watch telly without doing something, and so I stitched up a storm of worry dolls when I watched the movie "Perfume". I had read the book twice and couldn't imagine how they would translate it into a movie. I thought it the most strange and interesting story I had ever read, and the movie was no different. I think it really helped to read the book first to appreciate the movie, though.

ah, an Earl Grey kind of guy beaman :) Yes, that first cup of tea loaded with caffeine surely helps.

Seeing as how they are a piece of art I would charge No less then $5 but that's me.
I would ship Priority Mail with delivery confirmation because things tend to get lost in the mail. That way if they are lost, you can track them. I would charge $5 for small items in Canada. Shipping anywhere other then Canada would be an additional $2...just a SUGGESTION though. Many artist's charge differently. I hope this helps....

Not much of a tea drinker, tho I like my iced tea brewed and will drink whatever they serve at the Chinese restaurant.

I usually supply a little blurb in each art ball that is relevant to the object inside. In the case of the worry dolls I have a note describing the legend about them.
Not sure about the etsy thing. Seems like an awful lot of bother for just a few art ball dolls. I might show them to a local store that already sells some of my decoupaged stones.
As for tea...only when I have to and only without milk unless I'm trekking and then a good cup of Chai is most welcome - don't hold back on the pepper or cloves. My husband spent five years in England schooling, and drinks his tea 'boarding school' style. Disgusting. More disgusting? My sons do the same. I started drinking coffee as a child. Real coffee, and simply cannot function without it. I take it any which way, whereever I am. Since our latest trip to Vietnam I am now drinking it Vietnamese style with condensed milk as I type. Monologue over, I going to watch the early morning hot air balloons.
Babel was heartbreaking. I felt so sorry for the father of the two boys, his whole life ruined.
I've got the soundtrack and love the music.
Apparently it translates well despite the inherent difficulties.

The movie (and I assume the book) was otherwise exceptionally creepy in a nonscary way.
And while I hadn't read the book I was still eager to see the movie, Tom Robbin's Jitterbug Perfume being one of my favorite books.
It also tastes damned good.
