Plodding: Art and LIfe

Wish I could walk around looking like this coz I think I look kind of cooll desaturated and stenciled.

bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! my camera fell on the floor and is broken, bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! If anyone knows me they know it is like an appendage, I take it everywhere. I was so depressed I had to have a killer stomach churning curry from my fave restaurant miles away to distract me from my self-indulgent woes.

Hell I have been tagged by the FatLadySingz blog. Gotta get goals is the theme.
Personal Goals:
plod on (literally, I try to walk everyday on the treadmill , as well as walk the dogs every evening)
Art Goals:
plod on (haven't got a clue what I am doing but I am doing it and letting my muse dictate where it leads)

Not very profound huh!

Saying of the Day. Man who pee on electric fence receive shocking news.

Ohhhh, I'm so sorry to hear of your camera woes. I was photographing a number of things today and thought to myself, if I had to name 1 of my top 10 tools of all time, it would be my camera.

Hopefully, now you will be able to go out and upgrade to a new one. I dropped mine a few months ago right on the lens. Fortunately it still works, but, it makes a funny sound everytime I turn it on and the lens extends.

Did you ever watch Ren and Stimpy? They used to sing a song called, "Don't pee on the electric fence." One of my faves.

Story from the SF Chronicle about 30 years ago. A young student was in his studio class at the SF Museum School when in walked a visiting artist, Marcel Duchamp. Duchamp walked around the room observing and chatting with the students. He finally came up to the young student and asked him what he was doing. The student nervously replied, "I don't have the faintest idea." Duchamp smiled and told the student, "Excellent, keep up the good work."

My grandson yanked my camera off the dining table. like Cynthia's it also makes strange sounds but still works.

Wonderful self-portrait girly!!! I can't tell if that's a sketch or a picture?:)

Ouch! No camera?! I'd go crazy for sure...I hope you can get a new one soon. The last one I bought has a uber hard metal case...because I always break mine too...butter fingers...but I have dropped it sever times now and no damage! The next camera will be metal case and rubber...I need a bounceable camera. :)

Eek - I feel your pain - my camera had a nasty accident with an exploding pot of yoghurt in my bag a few months ago, and has never quite been the same since :-S

It is pretty old though (a 7 year old Digital Ixus) so I'm probably due an upgrade - it's managed to otherwise survive my clumsiness pretty well, considering!

Bummer on the camera. I have to go out and get a new one today. Looking at something that will easily fit in my pocket or purse.

Comiserations on the camera. Still it could be worse ... I'm in the habit of dropping mobile phones down the loos. I've killed 2 todate!

Aw geez....so sorry about the camera. I am so bad that I actually thought about *ahem* dropping mine...oops...so I could get a new one. Bill says that mine is just fine for now. What does HE know? Geezzzz.....I do feel your pain. : ) I seem to always have it with me. LOVED your sky photo and your car dash. Looks like mine. : )
And the self portraits were very amazing.

Have a good weekend...at least today was nice. Tomorrow? Who knows?
