Photograph of Ohio Sky

We were driving to Beavercreek, Ohio and the clouds and sunset were beautiful. I saw a shape of a plane and HAD to take a photo.

The thing about skies is: are they abstract or real? Is there a difference and does it matter? So much in nature strikes me as very abstract. Just a thought.

"are they abstract or real?"

hum! an abstraction of reality, or reality abstracted or, ooh my head hurts lol! You ask such good questions.

cynthia, thanks for the link, I enjoyed looking at it and will be going back for more.

hmbt, spring! spring! to be able to open the windows and smell the air coming in.

Pretty picture, but I have to admit, I do not see the plane -- or at least not one that is real distinctive.

Jan, it is a plane coming towards you and is near the bottom and middle of the photo. I really wanted to a get a close up but the car was moving too fast and I missed the chance.
I noticed you noticing me, which is nice because my husband and I have been in such a reclusive mode. I love your work, have to stay off of the computer, get up to the studio to do some work; I could go on for days.....just wanted to let you know that here in the computer ethers, I see you, and am impressed.

Okay, by the street lamp? I thought it was in the clouds to the top. Actually I kind of see a large twin prop plane coming out from between the clouds in that area.

Amazing - this could be one of the skies I regularly photograph from my living room window, looking out over the Silver Hills. There's a lamp-post just like it too.

It's so neat to see things in clouds and this really does look like a big puffy plane, one of those old fashioned propeller ones! Gorgeous pic JB!
