Gannin Yem-Travel Journal Pages
I am hoping I can take my little journal on the plane. I am putting pics of home, family, recipes (texas ceasar salad -YUM) for mum and sis, and small sketches and observations as I travel. This is a photo of my back patio where mass quanities of tea are consumed and the mosquitos enjoy a bloody feast on my husband (they really seem to like his blood the best). I like the idea of taking a sketchbook with you as you travel. I hope that you have a terrific trip and that you catch up with your family. How long are you staying? Oh thanks for translating!

Interesting language site. Kind of reminds me of those Capital One commercials. Have always wondered about those English speaking Vikings. :-)

Oh yes, the capital one commercials LOL! My fave is the gecko on geico, now talk about good branding :)
My favorite Capital One commercial is the Pillage People. And I am not really sure why the gecko has an aussie accent -- but as many times as I have seen the commercials (they must be doing some good business), I could probably quote them word for word. Which brings to mind, wonder if someone may some day make a play out of them ala the Brady Bunch -- hmm sounds like a plan.
BTW, for your trip, bring along a prepackaged pacifier to give to unprepared parents. I know I wish they had had some on board this last trip home. Soon as we started to descend, a baby started crying the whole time. It was painful.
I hope that you have a lovely and safe trip. We will miss your blog while you are away but I'm sure that you will be full of interesting things to blog about when you return. Trips always jumpstart my creativity.
still waters, the hot weather here (especially when we lived in Texas) really cramped my tea drinking habit. Took me 15 years to accept that iced tea was okay instead lol!
