Not sure how I am going to incorporate this into an assemblage. Once I have finished the portrait I will figure it out. Will stay black and white with a hint of colour and then varnished.
I usually paint on plywood, but no that isn't plywood, it is the table underneath the painting. What I did this time was glue canvas to plywood and then paint on it.

Yes, I seem to have a thing (like Francis Bacon) for open mouths. I find them such a challenge.

Is that plywood that is exposed? Have you thought about including gold or silver leaf?
