Thanks for this post, CB...I haven't drawn in FOREVER, this was a great 'brain jiggle.'
Also, another one of his suggestion-posts (down at the bottom,) 'How to draw what you see.'

Wow: I've got to try some of those! (#s 2, 3, 5 and 10, especially.)

Now to just find the time...and a good lamp! ;-)

Have you always been a 'draw-her?' Would you call yourself more of a draftsman or a painter?
Just curious...

thank you :) oh, um, had to think about this for a bit, but I don't feel skilled or experienced enough to call myself a draftsman. I am lazy and need to practice more. I would say more of a painter.

Good stuff here .... I agree since I've learnt to draw I know now what it is to really see my anatomy studies from life have been crucial in that respect -sh
