Heart Art and Cool Knitting

Please do share or use my image without permission

I had so much fun painting this series of hearts, but I wonder if I will trying to do it in embroidery. Planning the stitches to get a similar effect will be a challenge. I have to do a heart embroidery for the Embroidery Guild display in Feb so I need to get cracking dying the muslin and drawing out the design. I am also planning on doing a little craftbombing so January already looks like it will be a busy month preparing work and doing it.

Cool Knitted Stuff

Knitted Clock at the Conran ShopDon't let the seemingly benign nature of the knitted house by Freddie Robbins fool you, there is more to this than meets the eye. The artist has a whole series called Knitted Homes of Crime. More about this artist at Cast On.

Oh, I love the knitted clock. My friend recently knitted herself a loch ness monster and I've never seen her more thrilled. Not quite as elegant as the clock, but it reminded me of it.
