Scrapbook 1970

Scrapbooking or scrapping is a new rage or hobby, but as you can see I was doing it a looooong time ago. The back of the scrapbook says: "coty loves Joe scott" LOL! how that was possible is beyond me, I only went out with him three days.
I did these drawings when I was 15 because I just loved the look and it was fashionable to draw like that (bit like anime of the day I suppose).

Looks like you've been walking down memory lane.... At first I thought, is your real name Coty, but then I read your other post further down and saw that this was your highschool nickname.

Those are pretty rad vintage animes! I should see what I can come up with. They must be somewhere in the garage.

the subject of why blog came up on wc and others have asked too. Blogging really is just another way of doing what I have always done, a visual diary. In my teen years it was scrapbooks, and then it was journal/scrapbook type diaries. I still work on my sketchbook and I still do a family dairy though.
I have to laugh when I look at my teen scrapbooks, some of the fashions don't look all that different to today's clothes.

Well, yeah, but I'm sure Joe Scott was very cool, and three days is a LONG time when you're 15!

Good thing you kept all your old stuff -- it'll be great in about 30 years when your big retrospective is on display at the Met!

My daughter is very much into scrapbooking. I prefer the computer. I wish I had your artistic ability.

You were showing some fine artistic talent at a young age too...hey 3 days is long enough to fall in love, there's love at first sight. I always wonder what guys that I dated many years ago look like today. :) probably better off not knowing!
