Boo Time in the VIllage

It's always fun walking around the village and seeing all the Halloween decorations and carved pumpkins. Tomorrow night we shall see the joy of little faces as we hand out the sweets and ooh and aah at their costumes.

Back in my day in the UK we didn't have pumpkins to carve but used turnips, nor did we do trick or treat. OF course all that has changed now and UK has imported the Americanized version.

The Very First Jack-O'-Lanterns Are WAY More Terrifying Than What We Have Today

There's nothing quite like visiting a pumpkin patch, finding the perfect pumpkin, then settling in to carve your creation on a cool, fall night. Sure, the "pumpkin guts" are gross and make my arms itch, but the end result is always worth it.
