Photography here and there in a square

It was really hard to choose which chairs I liked most in this really cool exhibit. Talk about intersecting craft & art.
I was fascinated with the shadows as much as the doll chair :)

Love this quote on his website
"And if a day goes by without my doing something related to photography, it's as though I've neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up. I know the accident of my being a photographer has made my life possible."

Richard Avedon, 1970.

For me though it's something related to creating art.

Thanks for this post....I was to go down to Cols. the weekend before and was really disappointed that the museum was closed for hanging the new shows. Darn. I've never been in there and I've lived there twice (although both times in the 80's.)

Lots of coolness and 'fun' looking works....what are the sizes of the pieces? All over the board? Just curious....maybe when Spring comes, I'll finally take a drive and get down there!

mark greenwalt says...this chair synthesizes artifacts from my father's long past youth and from the childhood of his dead sister. From prior history new things come. We are all "bound" to the constant merging of these prior states.
