Retro Goodies and Artful Mischief on a Budget

I noticed my blog is listed on Oola Moola, and I think I know why :)

"We think everybody deserve the nicer things in life without paying an arm and a leg. So we got together to show you how to think creatively about how to live the good life for less moolah – without sacrificing quality and style!

YEP!

I couldn't resist these Pyrex 1960s-70s! cups from TranzentalArts on Etsy

The black doilies just POP on that fuscia pink wall and I like how they reinforce the theme with the doilies on the chest of drawers and mirror. I think it's easy to pull this off, a little paint, a few doilies, a lamp/drawers from the local charity shop and bobs yer uncle.

 Wall Art
I remember doing this(create wall art on a budget)back in the early 80's and its a super easy way to create a pulled together cool look in a room.

Even in the studio/workshop I enjoy the challenge of creating something from scraps or found pieces.

How cool! Wish I lived in your neck of the woods. As to a good life on a budget, where would the fun be if we could just buy anything we wanted??
