Framing Issues for War Embroidery

I finished this embroidery but just have't figured out how to mount it. I have dreamed ideas and thought about ideas up to the eyeballs. The tantalizing part is I know what I want but can't quite figure it out technically.
I know I want it stapled to something.
grrrrrr!

Visited the Society for Contemporary Craft in Pittsburg over the weekend and saw the beautiful work of Kurt Wieser

I so wish there had been seating in the exhibit space like in some of the small msueums I've visited. Being able to sit for a wee while really helps to spend time with art and explore and enjoy it.

I sympathize on the display issue. Having worked in a gallery for 8 years after college I'm always tuned to framing, display, organization issues surrounding presenting works. your point about stingy seating makes a great point; especially when trying to take in large, complex pieces.

Bill, framing is everything isn't it? I have seen too many good pieces ruined with shoddy framing or weak presentation.

As for seating, I really wanted to sit and enjoy the work :( in the craft exhibit.

It's a powerful piece, Jafa. I love clicking on your images to get a close up look. I have no idea about framing though.

OOh, and I meant to say, those paintings on the pots look like the warped reflections on a shiny tea pot :)

I wonder if you could ask for a chair. That is really so unfair to those who have issues with being on their feet or have injuries.

I love these tea pots. I like the art images, especially the attitude that the tea pots have "on" them.

Very cool.

I wanted to say that I really like your embroidery for war...really conveys the idea that we need to open our eyes and see that not only are we taking the freedom from others but we are losing ours own, in the name of "security". We are becoming a brut nation.

I see a Picasso influence...that totally rocks.
Wow, you've been doing some very cool work lately!
