Well the State of the Photograph

errr, reflects the state of Jafabrit after a large Christmas meal,a glass of sherry,a glass of eggnog, and a glass of champagne. I was ready to snooze in front of my virtual fire after this. I am looking at my happy find in my Christmas Stocking this year, Mish Mash Dictionary of Marmite by Maggie Hall. Some of you may hate it and want to hoy it oot, but wait the stuff is miraculous (not just to eat either). The dictionary is full of amazing facts, tidbits, folklore, but I wasn't suprised that the biggest lovers of Marmite come from the North of England, hee hee!

I'd say you're "cannie, lass."
Must tell my Vegemite friend about this one.

Lady Gaga is strangely addictive...marmite, I'm not so sure about. : P

Enjoy though!

Art, I agree about Lady Gaga being strangely addictive lol!

Moredidlethoughts, the book does discuss vegemite also, and not in a disparaging way (despite the competitive nature of the two camps vegemite vs marmite )
Thanks for posting a little view of Rincon. We are thinking about going there in February. It sounds like a fun place.

Jaf! I LOVE this new background!! Very cool. Also, I have been thinking a lot about Lady Gaga. I love watching her perform. Just to look at some of her outfits is like seeing moving art. However, I also am reminded how celebrity is such an illusion. Recently, I watched some vids of her performing during her "Pre-Gaga" persona. She was just an average looking girl up there singing. It wasn't really all that to watch. Now with her altered image, she has created a mirage to watch. Is it her voice or the package we love?

I think you hit the nail on the head Sheree, she is moving art.

Still Waters I hope you enjoy rincon. It isn't a big tourist spot like san juan, but you can walk directly to the beach from your hotel and any time of the day. In san juan we had to go through two security gates to get to the beach and after 7pm it was locked (as was most of the hotels along the shoreline).
