As I wandered

not quite as lonely as a cloud I came upon this

on Dayton Street in Yellow Springs and although some think it is by the jafagirls, it is NOT. I am delighted to see others putting stuff up in town and this one is fun. It says "take something special, leave something special"

I am now part of the Dayton Street Alliance, a group that supports business' on an oft neglected side of town, the dark side as Nancy calls it. Visitors for some reason don't wander around this part of town which is a shame because it has a lot to offer, including of course the jafagirl street art, and little surprises like the one above.

A cool morning
and I LOVE it, I have energy on cooler days
It's 9:30am and I've finished two more heart paintings this morning
AND
I am happy to be going to a life drawing session today. Drawing from a live model is a wonderful challenge and it is 3 hours of pure concentration. The interesting thing about doing embroidery is it is leading me back to the desire to draw, draw and draw.
Well have to buzz, need to fill an order of jafagirl postcards for a local store

Have a great day everyone

Happy pickle

I love the mottled surface of the tree, earth tones, roughened, sprinkled with green moss. An evergreen?

Happy pickle to you too.

I had to comment on the tree bark also. It is fascinating. Buttonwood perhaps?
