Cor, I love Crackers

That's a Deluxe Tom Smith Cracker sitting on my table and you almost need a forklift to pick it up, which tells me they don't have cheapo plastic pressies. Still they don't compare to the one's that Wee Birdy showcases on her blog (oooh la la, those one's are primo).

Oh dear, I remember the days when I used to make christmas crackers from home for a bit of pocket money (I was still at school) So they hold no surprises for me. It's a very low paid and time consuming job and it takes over your whole home!

Now, that cake on your table is something I am very interested in!

Thanks for the interesting links - I didn't realise crackers were so "new".

I love crackers too. I always buy loads in the sales and then we use them on birthdays and at Easter. Sometimes the simplest things are the best.

We had some awesome crackers a few years back and I still use the industrial-strength metal whistle in mine to summons the troops come the dinner hour!

I think the whistle I used for the kiss event was a cracker whistle Andrea. Great way to summon the troops I would say :)

Jane, I found only one place around here that sells tom smith crackers and it is the oddest place to find them, tj max.

I can imagine undaunted, I have done my turn with peace work just to earn a little extra, and ugh!!!! comes to mind.

thanks top bird, that is the first time I've seen that site and it is very good.

I've had a cracker only one time in my life. It was at a holiday dinner in California many years ago. I had almost forgotten that they exist.

I enjoyed listening to "What the World Needs Now" with the news footage. I hadn't listened to that in a long time. It's actually the perfect season to listen to it--so poignant and such a powerful message that rings truer today than ever.
