Christmas Tree

By 9:30 am Friday morning we had hung (with the help of les-thank you) our newest public art, a little Christmas tree art box outside In a Frame on Corry Street.
I made the box and the mini paper chains, nancy made the mini candles and glued on little ornaments.

Tate Modern Christmas Tree

My favorite is the annual Victorian Christmas tree at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I like the concept madsilence, interactive and using recycled materials, but it sure is UGLY! lol!

Me thinks I would prefer the one at the Met. Yes! tis true! I can be a bit of a traditionalist lol!

Jaf,
That framed Christmas tree is so cute and awesome. I looked at your participating businesses list. Wow! That seems to be a very supportive community. Oh and I looked at the Tate Christmas tree. You are right. It is UGLY. I like the peddle power idea though. LOL LOL

Stay WARM!!

Sheree, what can I saw Yellow Springs is AWESOME! Even the cops are good sports. You were not around when we olga the bra visited the knit knit tree and got a bit rambunctious. the police station stamped her passport and let me drape her over the squad car.

Have fun at the Kiss off. Oops! Didn't mean that like, "kiss off!" - meant it well.

Winter doesn't seem to slow the creativity down for you all.

Tell the governor I would've picked you for the award.

I agree - the Tate tree isn't the most... attractive. But if I could hook up our Christmas lights on the house to the elliptical... man, maybe I'd get rid of a few pounds (or at least make up for some of the holiday feasting!)

I hope someone filmed the kissing event. I also hope someone is following you around with a camera -- for the PBS documentary (or the reality show).

No community could possibly have such a creative, good time!

Your community sounds so wonderful. A dream community for any artist!
Such support can only bring more inspiration.
The tree is lovely. Can't wait to see what comes next. Hope the kissing both went well!

I guess there will be a lot of kissing going on!
