Everyday people face the trauma of having to flee, to cross dangerous borders/checkpoints, face the loss of their homes, their jobs, their lives as they knew it, poverty and exploitation. They lose their freedom, their health, their families and a voice.
Today Bloggers Unite in one voice to speak of the more than 40 million who face this terrible plight.

And then they face prejudice in the country they have entered, and people accuse them of taking their homes, jobs and benefits, when all they really want is safety.

I am remembering the man who had no face. I used to paint people and sell the portraits at art shows. Even in Yellow Springs. LOL

All of their eyes were extra large and looking up.

In this day and age there is no excuse for wars and poverty and people with no home place. We are not enlightened at all if we have not figured this out. So much hate in the name of faith or being right.
