Last year I asked a very talented Dayton photographer called Kidtee, if I could use one of her photos as a reference for a painting. My daughter did some model shoots with her a couple of years ago and the photographs were really cool. I finally got around to working on a painting. It needs refining and more work, but it's a start. She needs a nose ring and a ring on her finger, and then when dry I will sand it down in parts so that the edge between the pink and black is not so harsh. Looking at it here I can already see there are a few things I want to refine in the modeling on the face. I think the title will include kidtee's name and hey, kidtee, hope you like it.
" Devious Thoughts"This is one of my favourite pics that Kidtee took, not just because it is my daughter (of course). hum, I never did ask what the devious thoughts were, but then maybe mummy doesn't want to know eh!
